PERT

The CVE coordinates data collection and analysis for the MGH Pulmonary Embolism Response Team (PERT). Along with colleagues in cardiology, pulmonology and surgery, Dr. Chris Kabrhel created the first PERT in the world. The CVE has managed data collection for MGH PERT patients since the team was founded in 2012. The ongoing MGH registry now includes more than 1200 patients and investigators have published dozens of peer-reviewed manuscripts describing the treatment and outcomes of patients with severe PE.
